When you do something bad, you have to pay a price for it. And that’s what is going to happen with Thomas Markle, a source says.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry face an ongoing dilemma as her father and half-sister continue to reveal embarrassing details to the media, and Kensington Palace are reportedly on the verge of taking a more “aggressive strategy” in response.
The duchess of Sussex father, Thomas Markle, has been making headlines for all the wrong reasons. It started off innocently enough — the 73-year-old says he staged paparazzi photos before the wedding in an attempt to support his daughter. However, since the wedding, Thomas Markle has given tell-all (and paid!) interviews to Good Morning Britain, the Daily Mail and TMZ. He claims to have hung up on Harry and shared the newlywed’s plans to have children.
According to a source, the Palace are considering an ‘aggressive strategy’ to stop Thomas Markle from over-sharing information about Meghan and Harry with the media.
“The Palace, who normally takes a firm policy of not commenting on personal matters, is now considering a more aggressive strategy to deal with the situation with both her father and her sister,” a source told Entertainment Tonight. “No one wants to see this continue.”
“She has gone through periods of difficulty with her father in the past, but she does love him,” the source continued. “That’s what’s been so difficult about this.”
However, Kensington Palace is “less concerned” about Samantha than Thomas, the source notes, “because she has never had a real relationship with Meghan.”
An additional source told that Meghan remains upset that her father continues giving interviews to the press.
“She has not spoken to her father in more than 10 weeks since her wedding and is still hurt by her father, who has both staged the photos and continues to give paid interviews,” the source shared. “The Palace is at a loss of what to do and is re-evaluating options, including a more aggressive strategy to stem the embarrassment caused by Meghan’s dad, half-sister and half-brother.”
Well, the source failed to clarify the exact strategy which will be employed by the Palace, but noted they are most worried about Meghan’s father.
Mr Markle nevertheless expressed his desire to re-establish a relationship with his daughter.
